I checked in for my 2:40 eye appointment at 2 and was told by Bobbi, the retail manager to walk around the store or surrounding stores and come back in 30 minutes. I stopped back in at 2:25 and waited for my turn. 30 minutes later Brittney called the 3 PM appointment and I asked about my appointment. Brittney told me I didn't check in! I let her know I did and she started " I was checked out when I left" if they knew who to check out then seeing me hang out for 40 minutes they should have realized their error and checked me back in! I was very impressed with Dr Abrams last year, we drove an hour to have an appointment canceled on us.

Slow service and disorganized. Had lots of openings short notice but now I know why. Waited 50 minutes before I gave up and cancelled as had something else to do.

Refuses to give me my prescription over the phone when I call for it, citing HIPA, but that is not how it works. I can call my doctor for my oral medication information and they certainly follow HIPA. Lenscrafters refuses to share the information with you to make it harder to order from someone else. They simply must verify my date of birth.

I called to discuss an issue I was having with my current optometrist and they were more than helpful. I got an appointment right away, was treated exceptionally well. Got my eye exam, given contacts and ordered glasses right there and had all the help needed. Great experience and very pleasant experience.

I've been to the Lenscrafters in Salem and Manchester. I have not experienced the issues I have read on this site. I have never waiting for more than 15 minutes for an eye exam. They thoroughly explained the $35.00 charge because I will not get my eyes dilated so they explained it's a great alternative...win/win for me. They were EXTREMELY patient when I insisted on getting contacts. I've been an eyeglass wearer since I was 7....that's a VERY long time! (they said I could come back as many times as needed to practice...I gave up...not them!) Their guarantee and extended plans are the best. I try to be careful with my glasses but I always end up with a scratch in the middle of the glass that needs replacement. You get 30 days and if you don't like the frame they take it back and you pick a new one...no questions or explanations... I can't say enough good things...especially the staff. Top notch! I recommend Lenscrafters. They aren't miracle workers and it is a chain. I didn't expect to pay online or outlet pricing. It is fair for the great service I received. Thank you all!!!
