Level 1 Games

The best experience of all would have to be that it’s an actual VIDEO GAME STORE! Not some corporate jackass who wants you to pre order your soul. I’d give this store no better yet this home away from home 5 stars and 10 lives.

Literally the best game store I’ve ever been to! They have awesome retro video games that allow me to relive my childhood. They also sell MTG and Pokémon cards! They have all sorts of events and the staff make you feel like family! Highly recommend Level 1 Games to anyone looking for a fun, new place to hang out and have a good time!!!

Was recommended to come here by a friend as my son is very much into Pokemon at the moment. They have tournament style play on Saturday afternoons at 4PM for every age and experience level. My son (7 yrs old) is a newbie, so he did not understand the game play of the card game. One of the employees, Josh, spent about 45 mins with him and me to explain the rules and game play so that he would be able to compete in the afternoon's event. I was so impressed by the care they take to make sure everyone understands the rules and they were very accommodating to the questions that he had even during the tournament. I would highly recommend this place as a stop to look for any Pokemon type stuff. The staff is very knowledgeable and even friendlier to deal with. Not to mention, they also sold used games for just about every game console out there going all the way back to Coleco-Vision and the Atari 2600. Pretty cool walk down memory lane for me as well.

Best place around to fill your videogame and card game gauges. There's almost always something going on at this store. They consistently have events; Magic on Friday nights, Pokemon and Magic on Saturday afternoon and evenings respectively. They recently started having GameCube Smash tournaments on Wednesday evenings as well. Level 1 also has an amazing staff. 10/10 in regards to their knowledge of what they sell. They're very friendly as well and are always willing to help you out. The environment is casual and welcoming and there's always room for you tonight sit down and hangout for a while.
