Leaving my second review for this bike shop because they are always giving such excellent service! Sean/ Shawn not sure of spelling was just amazing! Fast but thoughtful and clean work. Gave me some great pointers on how to preserve my vintage Peugeot! Can't thank you enough for the tips and great price : I'll be back! Support this local business! You won't be disappointed!

Very friendly sole proprietor who is also knowledgeable and quick with repairs. They are a great local bike shop for rentals and repair work. Very fair pricing. Great customer service.

Friendly service mostly but incompetent mechanics. Every time I go here it’s out of convenience/price but I end up having to go somewhere else, like NYC Velo or Bicycle Habit, to actually get the fix done the right way a day later so it ends up more expensive both in time and cash. AVOID if you have a road bike and want to actually get it taken care of. I’ve given this place 3 whole strikes and really wanted to like it bc they seem down to earth and have good prices. But yeah, avoid… all they will do is take your time and money and give you bad advice about your bike. Minus more points for one arrogant mechanic that will tell you something is fixed when it clearly isn’t. :/

I've rented really nice bikes there for a quite reasonable price. And even staff was friendly. I absolutely recommend it!

Brought my bike to get assembled and it looks perfect! Gary was really nice and offered me a great price and great customer service. So happy to have a reliable bike shop so close to my apartment! Will definitely be stopping by there for regular tune ups :

Went here a few times. First to get my rim fixed then to get a tune up, and some parts needed to be reassembled. They did a great job on both. And the price was good. They were also friendly, and professional. Definitely going here again when I need something fixed. You could even rent a bike for the day at 30 dollars.

i walked in, we chatted, they looked at it and “jokingly” told me three options would happen. It was the first option; they nailed it right off the bat and at HALF the gDamn price of the other place. i had my “bike issue” looked at 3x at a different bike shop; paid 20-40 each time only to have the problem continue… the liberty team ACTUALLY fixed the problem in one attempt. I highly recommend these guys; they know their stuff, and they’re super cool and the price is the best in town. Would give 10 stars.

My first experience here was great. They hooked me up with everything i needed to fix flats. A couple of weeks later, I returned to try to exchange an unopened inner tube box because it is the wrong size for my new bike. The owner refused to exchange it because I didn't buy my bike from him. He had no inventory when I needed a bike! This is so shortsighted. I was a happy customer but, now, will never return. I understand that it is hard to run a business, but you don't have to treat customers with bitterness.

Fantastic, easy experience. From getting me in and out, to putting my personal pedals on the rental bike...to not making fun of me too much when I put the helmet on backwards AND tried to ride out with the seat way too low. :D The bike itself was well-tuned and responsive. Highly recommend.

The best bike rental in the Midtown/ Hell’s Kitchen area! They are half- priced of what other places are charging, bikes are in great condition and the service is fast and smooth. Recommend to anyone looking for a bike rental!
