We were lied to.
A young man named Castro signed us up gaining "special permission" to have our grandson sign up under us. The grandson spends much time with us as we watch him all day Saturday and most days during the week after school. For us to join, we had to have the grandson be a member and our membership was contingent upon his acceptance.
During our meeting with Castro the grandsons membership was understood. Castro left his desk stating he was off to seek "special permission" to allow this to happen because Lifetime accepts children only under their parents membership. He returns with the glorious news that our grandson has been given permission to join.
With this news, we joined after being re-assured that should it now work for us, we give 30 days notice and our membership can be cancelled without problems.
LIfe Time has collected two months of dues for our grandson's membership and this morning he was denied entrance to the facility. At check in, the young lady at the front desk gave us the news. It is Saturday so no management on site to discuss this with only salespeople and service personnel.
This is Fraud.
They also came up with some charges that we are unaware agreeing to.
The posted asking to call them to take care of this. I called. They did nothing. Their post is to look good, not do anything.

Lifetime is big, it has everything -I personally think its worth EVERY penny. Great lockers, great steam rooms, saunas, towels and everything you need...makes you want to work. out. Fantastic yoga teaches are this location, classes change for variety. Eat on your way out. I paid $140/month - a bit pricey for 1 person - but I thought it was worth every penny. Can also go to the other location to get a mix up on the weekend of other yoga classes or instructors or swim over there.

I absolutely love this gym! The price to me is not unreasonable considering the amenities. The staff is always friendly, helpful and the gym is always clean. I have had memberships at most of the gyms in town, including some specialty ones and Lifetime offers WAY more than any other gym. The cheap smaller gyms have broken equipment and are filthy and the specialty ones only offer a small range of items. Lifetime has something for everyone... classes, basketball, smash ball, basketball, rock climbing, swimming, and a newly added crossfit area. If you are like me, you attend the gym 8+ times per month so the $20 drop in would cost me more than the monthly membership. My kids have a membership as well because they play basketball, rock climb and swim frequently. I used to pay $175 for a specialty gym that only offered a minimal selection of equipment and had restrictions on open gym times. The towels have always been clean and I never see broken equipment. Keep up the amazing work everyone!!!

I am really disappointed with my experience here, I scheduled an appointment to view the facility and discovered that my family and I had been bailed on this morning (OK who else can show me around) Upon this discovery the front desk asked if I had a special email with a QR code which I did and told her and showed her that the image was loading. She told me to try walking in the cafe and then was no where to be found when I came to show her the code. She was in site at the other counter obviously avoiding us - the other lady at the front didn’t even bother to acknowledge my family and I or say hello. Neither asked if they could find someone to show us around or if we even wanted to reschedule! How pathetic. Is my money not good here? Is it because I’m Middle Eastern? Do I need to park my car in the front in order to receive attention? Absolutely ridiculous.

I am really disappointed with my experience here, my husband scheduled an appointment to view the facility and discovered that our family had been bailed on this morning (OK is no one else capable of showing us around? People in lifetime polos are sitting everywhere...) Upon this discovery the front desk, Yolanda, impatiently asked if he had a special email with a QR code which he in fact did and told her and showed her that the image was loading. She had the audacity to ask us to try walking around the cafe for better wifi? and then was no where to be found when he came to show her the code. Yolanda was in site at the other counter obviously avoiding us - the other lady at the front didn’t even bother to acknowledge my husband or say hello. Neither asked if they could find someone to show us around or if we even wanted to reschedule! Yolanda nor the other front desk even tried to find a solution to make our first impression positive. Is my husbands money not good here? Is it because my husband is Middle Eastern? I want an answer as to why we were treated so lousy by the people who are supposed to have the best customer service. Your first point of contact are grouchy women who act like they hate their job and the people who walk into it.
