Little Apple Pediatric Dentist

This was not a place that my husband and I felt comfortable with. From the initial phone call, we were informed of at least three different “policies” so we knew up front about the things all of these other negative reviews stem from. The reception was professional enough, but not friendly. When we arrived we were informed of policy after policy. We were not impressed by the office. The staff is definitely not overly “kid-friendly” and you’re not allowed to be with your child or even really know the person you’re sending them off with. We were very uneasy about this office and chose another WONDERFUL pediatric dentist that we love. Look around a little. There are better places to take your kiddos.

I would recommend Little Apple Pediatrics to absolutely every family with children! They are incredible here! The front desk staff is very encouraging and welcoming. Dr. Underwood is patient, understanding and truly cares about her patients. She meets with the parents after every visit which allows for both the children and parents to understand more about the procedures and oral health. This really is the best place to take your kids!

Dr. Underwood is always sweet to my 4-year-old daughter. The reason kids above a certain age get seen by themselves is because, just like in school, kids are often more likely to listen to another caring adult (like their teacher) when parents aren't in the room. It is always our job as parents to check-in and make sure our child had a good experience. That being said, I've always felt my daughter is safe with Dr. Underwood. She's great!

I made an appointment for my 2 young boys and received a welcome letter letting me know that parents are asked to wait in the waiting room and also a welcome letter to the children telling them how many tv screens they would be able to watch. Both are odd in my opinion. I do not feel comfortable sending my child off with a stranger. In addition, turning the kid into a zombie instead of interacting with them seems a bit lazy to me. The appointment was canceled with no effort so all is good for me, but I felt these were important points that are helpful to be aware of.

Dr. Underwood and her team are amazing. My little boy loves going to the dentist because of her and the team. I know my kids are in good hands when receiving dental care at her office.
