Lo-Lo's Chicken & Waffles

The first experience I had coming here was bad- we waited for over a half hour before our waitress came over, but a friend of mine asked me to give it another chance. We went during the week after the lunch rush so it wasn't busy this time. The waitresses are young and inexperienced, but very friendly. The chicken and waffles were really good! The food here is outstanding. I loved how they served the drinks in mason jars. I would come again for the food, but don't expect much from the service.

UPDATE: My last review was only two stars, primarily due to the service being so awful. However, I went in today and they had all new employees for the most part, the service was excellent, food always amazing and a pretty face and smile when you enter the restaurant. I now give 5 stars and please trust my review as I’m there a lot. Great job Lo Lo’s!!!

Not sure what everyone is talking about. Mariah was our server and she was absolutely amazing and very attentive! Food was amazing and you gotta love the private atmosphere and music! Portions are large and you pay for what you get! Try it out trust me! I gotta the catfish with greens,Mac, and cornbread! Don't forget the sweet tea!

The food was fantastic, the service was abysmal. We were seated at the bar and the staff took forever to acknowledge us and then never came back. Once we placed our order, we were waiting for our food for so long that we were contemplating walking out and that's something I never do. It was great food once it arrived though.

This is my first time coming to this place after its been shut down but the health department and the service was terrible! Once we were seated, it took the server a very long time to take drink orders and bring our beverages to the table. After 20 minutes she came back to take our food order. We were waiting for our food to come for a little over an hour a half while being told our food was "coming out next" or " I'll go check". We asked what was taking so long and the server response was that "the kitchen just got a bunch of tickets the were put in ahead of us" AFTER we were already waiting for more than a hour and a half. Our server had no sense of urgency to get our food to us or to even try to make something happen, she never came back to refill our beverages, and also payed no attention to us unless we got up to find her or ask another server to grab her. I will not recommend going to this place unless you like terrible service or plan on being there for your server's whole work shift!
