M&M Soul Food Cafe

We waited almost 2 hours for our food cause the cook was tripping and wouldn't talk to the waitress. Got our orders wrong. The service was nice. But they need to fire that cook. What me and my party of 4 had to deal with that day was very unprofessional. I eat there about 3 to 4 times a year when I'm in Vegas and I've never had any problems. It has always been good food and good service. But when I went on April 29th 2018 that was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had and I'm 43 years old.

Just left a little over 20 minutes ago. We are new to Vegas and so my uncle decided to take us. He comes all the time. However,Not to happy with the service received our waiter was fine however the food was not. My uncle had the smothered pork chops in which once he got to the bottom he realized it was pink! No telling if the other one was too! My husband and I had the bbq chicken great seasoning but it was not hot at all. The only thing that was hot was my greens. One waitress in there was not professional and when we told the cook about the pork chop he blamed new workers! The other waitress also turned people around at the door at 7:30 and told them they were closed and asked security to lock the door! They were also out of a lot of items that were on the menu. This was definitely a disappointment and we won't be returning!

Once again.....i was very satisfied with everything that they had on the menu. Every thing I order was good. I sat there after eating and didn't want to get up from the table. I even ordered food to take home with me. May god bless there company , because these are some wonderful and helpful people. They really treat you like family.

If you are in a hurry or really hungry, this is not the place for you. Call your order in and give them 45 minutes. I had catfish, collard greens, mac n cheese and red beans n rice. Being from Oakland, CA. I expected a certain down home taste for soul food. It's not nasty but this ain't it. The food was not seasoned, I could taste sugar in the greens, the mac n cheese had some powdered cheese in it and the fish was just fried with very little seasoning. My girl had the fried chicken and she said it wasn't seasoned either. And that corn pancake, NO! Where is the hotwater cornbread or a muffin? I'm still trying to find a can't miss soul food spot in Las Vegas. Can you help me out?

Good place to eat! We had a bad experience at the other location on a prior trip to Vegas, but this location is on a whole "nother" level! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
