Lodge On the River

Unfortunately, I would give this place 1 star only because their workers Cody and another gal were so nice and understanding with what happened. After checking in we went to the room and we were able to push the door open without a key. The room smelled horrible....like dirty musty greasy smelly skin and cigarettes. Then when we get semi situated a cockroach came out from behind the table. We immediately packed our stuff up and left. Again, the staff was so understanding and were very apologetic. We were refunded all of our money. Nice staff but I would never stay there again.

We stayed at this HELL hole I reserved a room when making my reservation I told the lady that I needed a downstairs room due to my husband and daughter being disabled, when we checked in the lady sad I'm sorry but we only have upstairs rooms available. So my husband said ok because he was very tired, when I arrived there air did not work, the front desk brought him a fan. the next day I went again to the front desk and the lady said I'm sorry their is no downstairs room still available. This motel is the worst I have ever seen. The housekeeping staff told me that there were no towels available but that the lady at the front desk brought her towlea from home if we wanted to use them. I will be calling the city and also the health department. This place needs to be closed down. The staff said that the owner is never answers the phone if they need her to fix things. Then the key deposit of $ 25.00 was not refunded because the office was not open on Sunday morning to check out.

They are a pet friendly hotel./apts with beautiful views . Near shops laundry mat & grocery stores. Rooms are neat & clean , no holiday inn ,but a bargain on any given day.

This place don't look like anything like there pics. The room was dirty. And smelled. So they said to go look at a diff one and It still was dirty. And they wouldn't give me my money back

Worst place ever!!!!! I booked through expedia who also was very disappointing, we didn't read the reviews prior but we got there to a room that was open already no key needed and then we realized the door did not work, there was a large boulder type rock in the room i guess we were suppose to close our door with and the lady was no help she just looked at us like too bad and she mentioned no other rooms available, so I had her cancel our reservation because I had kids with me and duhhhh door did not work. Anyways after i canceled i called expedia and was denied a refund because the lady decided to lie and say she offered me another room which was not the case, Unbelievable!!!!!!!!
