LongHorn Steakhouse

This has become a favorite place for us. Service is great and it's friendly too. Tonight we went out and my daughter left her "doggie bag" so I called to see if still there. It wasn't but the manager on duty said he'd remake the meal for us. (Daughter had only taken one bite). I was surprise he offered before I could ask what could be done. Here's the amazing thing, I called LongHorn by mistake. Needless to say is daughter went to where we had ate and got lots of bad attitude there. When she told me I called them back. How embarrassing for me as halfway into conversation realized I'd called wrong place. Manager was so very nice and understanding , he told me her meal was ready and she was welcome to pick it up. This was so nice and unnecessary and he didn't need to as I called wrong number. I know where I'm going next time. They wouldn't even take our money. Now that's customer service for you.

Spending $75 on a dinner for 3 is tough but when the food is delicious you feel it is worth it. Ordered a 18oz bone-in streak, a 6oz filet w/salmon, and a kids burger with all 3 being perfectly cooked to order. Overall was a great experience.

Love their strawberry salad! Waitstaff was extremely slow to take our drink order (coffee and soda), bring the bread, take our order (2 meals) and deliver. I don't think she knows what free refills mean. In closing try the strawberry salad, its great.

One of the few places I go to eat steaks. Last visit my steak was cooked perfect. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating even when it was busy. This place is typically busy on Saturday nights and the waits can be long, but the food and service make up for it. I would come here again.

Always get great food and cocktails here. One of the few Lansing restaurants that always has lamb, if that's your thing. I have yet to have meat grilled to an incorrect doneness. Waitstaff is friendly and engaging without being intrusive. I withhold one star only for the lack of originality on the menu. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you are looking to be surprised, this is not the place.
