Outback Steakhouse

It's awesome steak, what more is there to think about? Although on my last visit we ended up waiting a bit, not horribly long to get our food. The place was packed so I get it. Anyway the manager gave all of us 1/2 off of our entrees and a free desert each. Fabulous customer service. This was the Outback near Grand Ledge on Saginaw.

Honestly never had a bad dish here. It’s consistent good and if you branch out from steak, the other stuff is also creative and tasty. Hannah is the hardest working bartender I’ve ever seen. Wish more people had that kind of work ethic.

Food was great, we didn't have to wait too long so that was great as well. My only complaint was the lack of management presence. Our server, Yolanda, was absolutely outstanding, but she shouldn't have been the one to explain why our food was taking so long. We watched as what seemed to be a manager stopped at quite a few tables, but never ours. Yolanda made sure we got a dessert "on the house" and apologized for the manager not coming by. My suggestion would be to put more managers on so there is less ground to cover, had it not been for Yolanda's effort, we may have taken Outback off our regular dinner stops.

Service was excellent!. That is why this gets two stars. Our server was very gracious. But the food? Not so much. Four plates out of eight were sent back due to being over cooked - not only the steak but the chicken. And the Cobb Salad? It consisted of two sliced grape tomatoes, lettuce, chopped eggs, and cheese - for 12.99. Really? I think the most disheartening thing was that the manager or a manager on staff, never did come over to apologize - not that it was her fault, but as a manager, it’s you job to make amends. Although, in all fairness, it appeared to have been her dinner hour ..... or two. Her food looked good. Bottom line is this. For the money it cost us, it is so not worth it. Sad.

It was our first time at Outback and everything was awesome! Mallory was so nice and accommodating and really helped us choose some awesome drinks, definitely ask for her if you come to this location! Such an awesome waitress!
