Lorton Station

Easy to find. Drive up to the gate when we first arrived and pulled up right to an assigned lane where we took our belongings and headed inside. Wait time was 1 min on line at the passenger check-in desk. The women who helped us was so kind that she let us see our train seats before we picked them to make sure they were ok. She let us go outside and actually see the seats which was so nice of her. Friendly service !!! Would definitely take the auto train again.

Very nice and very convenient train for long travel. Excellent staff and food. Enjoyed so much in Superliner roomette. Thank you Amtrak Auto train for making my move so easy :)

First time using the Auto Train we took it from Florida to Lorton. The station is clean and the staff are friendly. How they took the cars off and called your numbers was efficient and we didn't have to wait that long. The bathrooms were also clean and there was even a gift shop there. Would definitely use his service again!

When I booked the Auto Train to carry our motorcycles to Florida, I wasn't sure what to expect. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. The staff that set up the motorcycles couldn't be more attentive and responsible. The sleeper room although very small was very efficient, no space is wasted. The service in the train was top notch, very attentive. The only let down is the food, especially breakfast, however the waiters were very nice. Another thing people might complaint is the ride which is bumpy quite frequently and could be an issue while sleeping. Also the WiFi is not good enough for streaming, you will need to download your videos before hand.

Awesome. Extremely courteous staff, great food, almost always on time. When late by 2 hours or more, the staff got you covered. All kinds of sandwiches and drinks free of charge.
