Our first visit 2 weeks ago was fantastic. The service was outstanding and the food was great. Last Saturday we decided to go for a late breakfast. They advertise breakfast is available til noon. After getting to a table and getting a lunch menu we asked if we could still get breakfast. They replied that they had a large group that wanted lunch so they switched over early. I think it is very nice that you wanted to accommodate their request, however you need to follow what you advertise. We took the time to drive over 15 miles to your restaurant. We left without saying a word and in hindsight I should have requested to talk to a manager.
Nice little restaurant..... you need to rethink somethings.

We drive by here often and decided to finally give it a try. We went to the web site and placed a very simple on-line order consisting of two 1/2 lb mushroom and Swiss burgers. One with French fries, one with tater tots. You can’t mess that up, right?
When we got home and opened our to-go simple order?
A 1/3 lb mushroom and Swiss, a 1/3 lb bacon blue, and a 1/3 lb mystery burger. All with fries, and a over cooked.
We will continue to just drive by Lucy’s.

I’ve been to Lucy’s a number of time now and everything I have tried has impressed me. I would put this place up against any of the top rated burger joints in the metro area. Lucy’s is a family owned business and their service is even better than their food. Oh and they serve breakfast now!!! Pretty simple menu, but the food was good enough to become our new breakfast spot. I’ll end this review with an extra shoutout to Chris the server for his outstanding customer service.

I really want to like this place, but the burgers are just average. The staff are very friendly and seem to be genuinely glad you’re there, which is why I am giving three stars instead of two. They could use a little more staff, however, because the service is a bit slow.
Another issue is the parking, depending upon when you go to Lucy’s. I suggest you avoid Friday and Saturday evenings.
Here are a few more details...
I visited had previously attempted to visit Lucy’s on several Saturday evenings but could never find a parking space — parking is a challenge with Orchid, Lucy’s and some other establishments and a small shared parking lot. Given the temperature outside and the falling snow during the winter, I was not willing to park at the movie theater and walk 100+ yards to wait for a table at Lucy’s.
Given the prices for the burgers I have reasonably high expectations...$11-$12 for a burger means it should be pretty good. I tried the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries. The best part of my burger was the bacon, not the burger itself. The burger was a bit dry and not very flavorful, which is why I said the burgers are just average. The bun is decent, but not great. The fries, to be fair, are pretty good. I tried some of my daughter’s tots and they were a little better than the average tot you’d make at home. The Spicy Aioli dipping sauce was excellent, probably the highlight of the meal.

We've been here twice and loved it both times! The burgers are awesome and the staff is very friendly. My only issue is they seem to have a bit of a staffing issue. Both times there was only one server in the bar (the bartender) and only one person in the dining area, and it was busy. We ended up waiting quite a bit for service. Otherwise, we really enjoy it and will go back for sure.
