Maddox Ranch House

Maddox is an icon of the Brigham City/Perry area. It draws visitors from a large area. We usually eat there at least once a year when we visit Brigham City. It is all known for its steaks and fried chicken meals. The portions are generous. The warm dinner rolls and corn bread are wonderful with the raspberry butter or with honey. This is a family friendly place that is always busy with return customers.

Lived up to expectations Have heard of this place for years, today had the opportunity to visit. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere relaxed. The water comes from a well on site if the menu is to believed. The rolls come from heaven. WOW! Portions are large and delicious.

Their fried chicken is always the best. And the friendly car-hop service at the drive-up is fast and fun. Do not miss Maddox if you're going through Brigham City on I-15. You'll always remember stopping and eating there and you'll become a regular whenever your traveling. I've been eating at Maddox since the early 60's when driving back and forth between Utah and Idaho.

This restaurant is absolutely incredible! The service was top notch, the food was great, and they gave us rolls while waiting. Now, the wait here is normally quite a long time but they bumped us up as a courtesy... awesome staff!

A few years ago they had the best pan-fried chicken in the state. Today, the quality has become less important than the quantity. On the Saturday night I ate there, my party spent about $75.00 on undercooked steak and overcooked chicken. I was disappointed, though my Sister in Law's Chef Salad looked great. Not much you can ruin in a salad though. I'd recommend visiting on a weekday. Sometimes Sous Chefs have a bad night. At least the presentation is great.
