Timbermine Steakhouse

The food could not be better. I had the salmon which was so wonderfully moist it almost melted in my mouth! Also, the cheesecake is to die for... well almost :) I was part of the approximately 300 attending the RSVP luncheon and the fantastic staff served all of us in an extremely efficient manner. It was a wonderful experience.

Super disappointed! This wasn’t the restaurant I had expected after reading many reviews. The place was dark and smelled musty (maybe that’s what they’re going for...). I did feel that this would look awesome in Deadwood, SD though. Anyway, steak was chewy, crab was dry and flavorless, shrimp was over battered, they didn’t have any milk for kids, and ice cream was frost bitten. The French bread was alright. For the price it just wasn’t worth it. Service wasn’t very good. And for it just opening I’m surprised we weren’t visited at all during our time there. We won’t be going back.

Pretty good place to eat. I've only been there once and my experience was pretty decent. I wouldn't go back and pay the amount of money I paid for my food. The quality of my steak just wasn't on par for what I paid for it. Had the food been well worth the price, I would for sure be going back. Over all though, definitely worth the four stars.

The best service we've ever experienced! Our drinks were always checked on, we didn't have to ask for anything she brought out quick food, removed our plates and ensured we were having a great dining experience! As a family of 6 we all had the best tasting food from halibut, steak, crab, salads, dessert and drinks! Thanks Timberline for helping us celebrate purchasing a new home as well as a birthday!!

Four stars for the location! Right at the mouth of beautiful Ogden Canyon. Three stars for the food, it was pretty good. Two stars for the decor. It’s kind of interesting. I think it’s a restaurant worth checking out!
