Magic City Sweet Ice

Nice place to get dessert after a meal. Kids ate ice cream and they said it was great. The cookie in the picture is chocolate chip with reese's cup it was delicious! Good customer service!

Meet the Gelatti! Mix of sweet tea gelato and soft serve vanilla ice cream. This double scoop was $6 and worth every penny! Super nice staff too letting you sample anything.

This place is great! The ice cream is wonderful and they always have unique flavors to try. If you get lucky, you can catch them on a day when they make beignets! They also have soups on the weekend that are perfect when it gets colder.

Excellent shop; was well arranged, menu was easy to read, and both inside and outside seating was available and very nice. Employees were incredibly helpful and gave a quick rundown of all their offerings. Their cookies were delicious. Looking forward to returning!

The team who works there are like neighbors/friends. So great! I love that they're across the street from the park, that they have a little porch with a swing to hang out on, and that they use fresh/real ingredients and often have fun or unusual flavors. Huge fan of this place. I'll forever love the lemon ice. SO GOOD. Would love to see an avocado one ; Hehe.

Everything here is delicious! The flavors are fun and creative all fresh and hand made!! And the prices are reasonable enough to get to treat your whole family. The folks who run the place are adorable and a wonderful part of Homewood. So happy we have this amazing little shop.

Great ice and gelato! I love the story behind this place. They're always kind and have great flavors. I prefer this place over YOMO and it's more personable. They've expanded to sell beignets and gumbo on Saturdays this year too! Just be prepared for a little madness in the shop on Saturdays. You can almost bet they'll be setup away any festival in the city too so look out for the mobile unit also!

Super cute neighborhood sweets store. They have custard, gelato, and Italian shaved ice as well as cookies and pastries and gourmet coffee or espresso. The staff is usually local kids who are friendly and enthusiastic. A very fun outing.

The gumbo and beignets that they offer on Saturdays is delicious! The prices are very reasonable and you will not be disappointed by the atmosphere or service. Although my food was a pickup order, the employeee were still very kind for the time that we were there. Everyone should get a bowl of this gumbo at least once, it seriously is one of the best!

I had the grilled cheese just as a snack and it was fantastic!!! I can’t believe they sell dinner now! Definitely a one stop shop, beer, ice cream, and awesome dinner! Also the service was amazing! I had Charlie and he was very knowable.
