Red Mountain Expresso

Cute little spot and always convenient because you can only drive up. There are food options too! Their favorites all seem tasty but I’ve only had one so far! I will Def be back when I’m on the go!

The best drive thru coffee place in Birmingham. Their signature lattes, especially the Hollywood, are delicious. I highly recommend the pimento cheese and sausage “pimausage” is the insider name for it biscuit. The only bad thing about the place is getting in and out with the traffic. The place is mostly staffed with high school and college age students, who have exceptional customer service skills. Wish they had a few more locations around town.

Coffee’s great, service is great and the dogs always love getting a treat. The girl that tells the jokes is the highlight of our Saturday mornings. We’re actually a little sad she wasn’t here today to make us laugh, but the service was still solid

This is my most favorite place! The owner, manager, and employees are so friendly, the coffee is great, and the sausage and pimento cheese biscuits are amazing! I have to try not to go every day! The only negatives for me are: 1 it’s drive through only, so if I want to sit and work at a coffee shop which I do sometimes, I don’t get my Red Mountain Expresso that day - bummer! 2 they close more often than most places - like entire holiday weekends even Mother’s Day, Fathers Day etc. I think Thanksgiving they are closed 4-5 days and they closed the week between Christmas and NY this past year. Im not complaining that they are probably just taking care of employees to allow time off - but it still stinks for us who love our coffee! They do a good job of posting a sign in advance of closing though. I am hopeful the being closed every Sunday that they’ve done this month isn’t permanent! I’d die!

I am a coffee critic. And I have to say my white mocha with oatmilk today was on point and was so delicious Thank you for serving great coffee. Wish I lived closer

we love Red Mountain Expresso! always friendly faces and delicious drinks. my kids love the muffins, me and my husband love the chicken salad sandwiches: Vegetarian options: everything they offer is vegetarian with the exception of the sausage biscuits, club sliders, and chicken salad. they have vegan chips and hummus as well!! lots of muffins, a few granola bars, biscuits, and pimento cheese! Kid-friendliness: the staff is amazing with kids and they have hot chocolate, muffins, biscuits and lots of other kid friendly options! Dietary restrictions: offers alternative plant milks!

I had coffee here twice while in town! It was so good! The Vulcan was delicious and the young ladies at the window were a joy. Very friendly employees and the coffee, well... wonderful!

This place was awesome. The employees were super sweet and so kind. Beautiful people and good food and coffee.

I stopped by and grabbed a vulcan frappe. It was so sweet that I couldn't drink it. The service was great. Really wish I could've treated espresso in the beverage or taken more than a sip. Happy to have supported local nonetheless.

I’ve eaten here for so long and I love the food but today as I was eating my sandwich a larva fell out of the bite I had just taken. I called and they are checking the food and giving me a refund.
