Main Gate Bar

Great little dive bar located across the street from the main gate of the state fairgrounds. Would definitely recommend.

Front door handicapped access, back door near parking lot has stairs, food until 10p. Great ambiance.

If there were 0 stars option I would have chosen that. After the rodeo at the fairgrounds we went there to play some pool and the owner came up to me and told me I need to leave before I could finish my beer for no reason. Guess he doesn’t like cowboys. To bad for him I’ll spend my money elsewhere. Not a friendly environment.

Great people and great drinks. Throughout enjoyed myself. I will be putting this establishment on my frequent visitor list of favorites.

Nacho’s were yum! I love scoops n cheese was plenty, hot and delicious. Fries - crinkled n crisp! Total neighbor bar with variety of tap beer n no nonsense locals. I’d go again.

My three girls and I went over to the main gate to have lunch today and everyone was accommodating and awesome! There was music going and a local birthday and had a blast!

Better drinks served to me. I'll continue to go
