This company doesn’t even deserve the one star I HAD to give. The whole summer of 17 we were without AC, because they neglected to come out and fix the issue. One thing would break after another from refrigerator to washing machine and per management services the “landlord” didn’t want to fix, even though those issues were THEIR responsibility, which they did eventually fix after several calls and complaints on the issues. We had to take our clothes to a laundry mat just so we could have clean clothes to wear! From the time me and my husband moved in we knew we made the biggest mistake of our lives in not finding out more about the people we were renting from, but couldn’t afford to break a lease and still have to pay rent on the house plus the new one until someone else came along dumb enough to move into the dump. On top of all that they took over half of our down payment. They(management services/landlord) are crooked people and hope this review deters another person/family from making the same mistake my family did in using them.

If i could give this rental agency negitive stars, believe me i would. This is the worst place i have ever stayed and the rental agency is the worst i’ve ever dealt with. Staff is NOT friendly at all and very unprofessional. It takes maintenance about 2-3 weeks to get to you after you call 100 times and you finally get SOMEBODY to answer the phones. Nobody around there seems to know the answers to questions either. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

This company is amazing!!! I was in a huge bind and needed to move asap! The women in that office worked really hard to get my lease paperwork done, get in touch with the owners for approval, vouched for me bc even though my credit is a little rocky, my rents referrence was great, so I ultimately was given the opportunity to move into this beautiful home that same afternoon!!! I can never thank them enough for not only working as hard as they did to help me out, but also staying late to endure I could sign the lease and get my keys that same day!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. You girls Rock big time! My little boys absolutely love the home and so do I. Very clean property, great neighborhood, nice neighbors all for a very reasonable price. We couldn't be more thrilled with this whole process than what we are now and with this rental company. They understood my predicament and they knew I was a single mom with kids so I really needed as much help as I could get it and they went above and beyond to provide that for me. I would and will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Thank you again!!!

If I could give this rental company a 0 star rating I would. We had a terrible experience renting a house from them. When we first toured the house we noticed a few things wrong but they assured us that they would have someone by to fix them. When we moved in still no one had come by to fix them and as we continued to move into the house we noticed more amd more things that needed to be fixed. When we called and asked them about it they said to write all of the things in a log and deliver that the following Monday so we would not be charged for them upon move out and they would have someone come by to fix them. A week later still no one showed up. We tried to call them about it but they would not answer and when we left messages they would not return our calls. Some of the main things we had noticed upon move in were the walls and how badly they were scratched up and colored on with crayon and the house was really dirty (especually the carpets, which when we cleaned them the water came up black). We called and asked if we could paint three times and asked about having the carpets cleaned but had to leave messages that again went unreturned. When we went in to ask about why they had not sent anyone out to fix the broken stuff in the house or returned our calls to paint and have the carpets cleaned, they simply stated that they were trying to get ahold of the owner who was a lawyer. Mind you this had been going on for about a little over a month, so in that time they apparently "hadn't talked to the owner once". The carpets were never cleaned by them, the broken things were never fixed, and we were never told we could or couldn't paint. A few weeks later they sent us a bill in the mail for rental insurance ($87) that we had agreed not to buy through them because it was more expensive. We decided to go with our own company because it was cheaper. Still they sent the bill anyways which we desputed. About a month or two later they tried to raise our rent from $975 to $1025 while we were locked into our contract. When we moved out we had to move out early because my boyfriend was involuntarily separated and we couldn't afford the house on my income alone. When we moved out they said they would reimburse him for the security deposit in full which generally takes only a few weeks. He called two months later because he hadn't received the deposit yet but they sent him a notice in the mail saying that the deposit was being withheld for review. When he tried calling to ask why he hadn't received the deposit yet they said they didn't have a reason for why the deposit was being withheld and that they would call back when they found out in about an hour. They didn't call back as promised and when he called them again they said it had been sent the 29th which was a few days after he had called the first time about it and they said the deposit amount was the full amount. He just received the deposit a few days ago and it was for about a third the amount they said it would be. They charged us for carpet cleaning which had not been done when we moved in, they charged a cleaning fee which again had not been done when we moved in, and ghey charged for blinds which were not broken when we left and that upon move in we had to buy and replace blind parts because they were broken then. Before we moved out we cleaned the house top to bottom and cleaned the carpets with a carpet cleaner several times. We had to do the same when we moved in because it was not clean. We are beyond fed up with this rental company and seriously recommend anyone considering renting from them reconsider. Our experience was beyond horrible and we will never rent from them again or reccomend them to anyone else either. Like I said before if I could rate them 0 stars I would. Renting for the first time in North Carolina we were hoping for a far better rental experience than what we received but this was NOT it. This was beyond unacceptable and rediculous and I hope no one else has to go through this as we have.

I am getting out from under a not so great agency, and Ruthann has been a Godsend! She shows that she truly cares about her tennant and not just the money that's involved in rental management. I move in to my new place today, and I am Very very excited to have the opportunity to do so! I would recommend this company over the one company in Havelock that does most of the property management so far!! Signing my lease was incredibly easy and convenient.
