Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant

Fabulous daily FRESH fish meal!!! We had the grouper sandwich along with the fish tacos which Joe recommended us to choose the Amberjack as a fish. BEST recommendation and just thrilling tastes for some of the best fresh fish in town. And to boot we’d had a horrible key lime cheesecake experience the night prior and their homemade one gave redemption to this local staple! This place lives up to their reputation. Can’t wait to return! Thanks Joe & Mar Vista!

We had a great table near the water on the sand. Good food but I ordered grouper collars which I didn't like but I had never had them before. The was nothing wrong with what they did but I just don't like them. The other two had scallops and they were wonderful.

On of my favorite restaurants. Beautiful views. Awesome food. And sometimes a short wait but worth it. You eat under the shade of trees listening to low volume music. The food. Yum

This is a fantastic spot right on the water. Arrive early to get a table on the beach under the beautiful, shady trees. It has a good menu, especially the bud and bay shrimp and frog's legs. It gets very busy and the service can feel a little slow, but everyone is so friendly and nice that you'll forgive them! The appetizer portions are huge, be warned. There is water access too so bring your boat. It's a great place for families as the kids can play out on the beach before lunch. A total gem of a restaurant!

Food was quite nice but my daughter ordered the calamari and ended up biting on a frog leg, when she looked through there was a few frog legs mixed in there. It didn't bother her too much but it's the kind of thing that would make me feel sick so I'm glad it wasn't me. Lovely place to sit though with beautiful views
