Mar Vista Recreation Center

Great soccer field with large playground for kids. Also it has 3 baseball fields & skating rink for hockey. Dog friendly and plenty of picnic tables. My son loves soccer but is limited due to NO LIGHTING once it gets dark. THANKS NEIGHBORS👎👎..Soccer field is artificial turf.

This is an awesome place to visit. Their is so much going on. The staff is friendly & the programs offered are top notch. Come & visit for yourself & see the diversity for yourself.

This park is a quaint little park that packs a powerful punch. It's great for kids; it's great for adults (especially with kids). There is a gymnasium. There is the best kid's playground, one of the best that any typical recreation center has that I've ever been to. Because of this, the park was packed even during a weekday at 1:00 p.m. The kids were having a blast. The adult athletes were working out hard with plenty enough room to run and jog. There are public facilities when that time is required. And as I said before, the place was packed with both kids and adults in the middle of a weekday, which was a surprise to me. The park is located in a very safe neighborhood as to promote this type of activities. With all that I personally witnessed I would certainly take my kids and family to this park and feel safe, as there are staff members onsite, along with many fathers and mothers to keep an eye on you and your family. Highly recommended to any with exercise goals and family values.

Nice safe park. They finally are getting around to cleaning it up. Coming here for years-. Nice neighborhood, pleasant area in the morning and at dusk. One of my more favorite parks because of it's location to stores and shops, etc.

Always bustling with activity. Nice playground. The only downside is the constant presence of a homeless camp on one area of the park.
