MAGNIFICENT
Marcel’s is a classic DC dining establishment that epitomizes the pinnacle of elegance and service. I love the restaurant has a JACKETS REQUIRED requirement for guests; a rare and welcome change to the flip flops and shorts found in other establishments. Staff was amazingly courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient, ensuring our service was excellent. We savored the three course fixed price menu offerings. Each dish was perfectly prepared, elegantly plated, and served at a relaxed pace. We will be back when we need our fix of elegant dining!!

Went for the pre theater dinner. We’ve eaten at some of the top restaurants in DC, and this has by far been one of the best dining experiences of all time. From the friendly hostess, the knowledgeable server, the food and pairing recommendations, to Robert himself coming to serve us one of our dishes, we have never experienced hospitality like this in the city. As if that wasn’t enough, the staff arranged a car service to the Kennedy Center after our meal. The whole experience is like having everything go your way. Ever have one of those days? Well, go to Marcel’s, and you absolutely will.

A truly amazing French Belgian fine dining experience just outside of Georgetown. Wonderful, friendly service in a very sophisticated environment. I recommend it without hesitation.

Was late on a Saturday eve. We did not plan ahead. All the fine dinning had a hour or more wait. We came across Marcel's, and there was no wait. After eating there we know why. The service was bad. I had to send my steak back twice, and still wasn't done right. The sides were cold. The waiter could of cared less. Very expensive, which I wouldn't of cared if the food was good. Will never eat there again when in D.C. The location is good, but I would not recommend this place

The food and service was superior. Presentation was great. The menu was very diverse as well. The restaurant doesn't seem to get busy until maybe 8 or 8:30 but even when it was busy the atmosphere was still very peaceful and you felt like you had privacy. Also they had a pianist playing live music from time to time and it was amazing. This a great experience for a special occasion I would recommend to anyone.
