Marisqueira Azores Restaurant

Just tried it for the very first time last night,and it was absolutely delicious,and the portions were generous! Very flavorful food,and the meat on both my husband's(steak plate)and also with my marinated cubed pork/potatoes,the meat was very tender,and had great flavor!We went there to pick up a gift certificate for a friend,and figured that we would also give it a try,as we love Portuguese food,and I actually cook quite a few dishes myself,we had to try it,and they did not disappoint!!! I couldn't stop eating lol,and I Did Not leave with a doggy bag unfortunately!!!

Great food for a relatively low price. Portions are many times larger than one can eat and need a "doggie bag", at least I do. My favorite dish is Bacalhau a Bras which is shredded salt cod (not salty) mixed with pieces of shoestring fried potatoes and scrambled egg to bring everything together. It is the only place I order this plate because though they try, none of the other restaurants, even in St Michael, come close. My husband says the Portuguese Steak here is the best in the city as far as quality of the meat, variety of styles and, again,.and accuracy of how it is cooked

Amazing food, big portions and friendly staff! The octopus and liver are to die for. Definitely coming back.
