Mather Vision Group

Very frustrated by the service at Mather Vision Group. Particularly the optician. There was no one there when I went to pickup my glasses. Attitude of the staff present was very poor, basically did not care. Will not go there again.

I went to Mather Vision Group because of a recommendation, but when I had my appointment, I had to wait over a half hour and even then the doctor forgot I was there and the girls had to remind him. The appointment was only average. I wasn't overly impressed with the doctor and I was already upset that I had been at there for over an hour. Then when I went back to pick up my glasses, I was informed that I had an additional $41 charge for a contact lense consultation. This was NOT told to me up front when I made the appointment over the phone, nor when I arrived for my appointment. And as I was discussing this with the girl at the desk, she started to get snippy with me and then she turned around and got snippy with her coworker. This is not professional at all and as completely turned me off from ever going there again. The doctor would not waive the consultation fee even though I told him repeatedly that I was not told upfront of this cost and if I had been I would have not had it done. It should have been covered in with the copay for the office visit. I finally told him I would paid the fee, but I will not go back there again and I will be reporting them to the better business bureau and the Attorney General.

I love this place...been going here for years...I see Dr Cutler and he does wonderful with my autistic son
