Showed up before comedy night. Six people at the bar, all of different backgrounds and races. Super friendly staff and customers. Great selection of Irish whisky and tap beers. Reasonably priced. Definitely authentic and not commercialized.

One of the best bars and venues in Richmond. The drinks are great and the food is awesome. Has great bartenders Joe and Cory!. Cory runs BETWEEN 2 BEERs a great show production company and they put on the best punk and metal shows! Check them out on facebook

I love it here. It's either quiet and a nice time to chat with the bartender, or it's pretty banging. On a Friday night it's never too quiet or dead tho. The shooters are great and cheap and they will sneak up on you. Happy hour ends at 9pm and the drinks are strong and cheap. I recommend for a good time. You'll meet some pretty nice people, regulars, the bartender, and passersby. If your not into the whole 'club scene' but still want to go have fun downtown, I highly recommend.

It was cool for a tues. Only thing is they dont have popular brands of dark liquor. The Scooby snack was good and it had Malibu rum in it so it worked out

Great selection, friendly staff, good music and comedians on the reg. A real Richmond institution.
