Fish & Chips was excellent.. Irish soda bread and cheese spread was delicious. Service was amazing.. only 1 waitress, Janet, she was better than restaurants I've been in with several waitresses.. very pleasant. Can't say enough positive about Tin Whistle... We'll definately be back

Great food selection and I was particularly impressed with the cocktail selection. The Sweet Manhattan was incredible. I was somewhat disappointed with my tuna melt, however because I was getting a half-sandwich I suppose it was difficult to the serve it hot, also I've never had a tomato basil soup that was spicy in the past which I found off putting. However my dining companions really enjoyed their meals, and the appetizer and desserts we're mouth-watering. Also our server was very friendly, a attentive, and helpful. I look forward to trying this place again sometime.

While the soup is very good and unique, the corned beef meal is very average. The identity of the meat is corned beef ... and there are potatoes and carrots. That's really all that can be said for it. Meat is not as tender or flavorful as it should be. You'd do better to cook your own for St. Patty's Day, as this is really nothing to write home about. They don't bother to serve water with your meal - maybe you have to ask for it? I don't know, but I never got any. Also, I was evicted from my table immediately after paying (what a coincidence!), so if you intend to stay longer to enjoy the music, do NOT pay until you're ready to go. All in all, the only thing on the menu worth coming back for is the soup. With all the other fantastic restaurants in Cville, this one falls very short on the rest of the menu items. A restaurant to be passed up in the future.

I love this place! The Shepard’s pie is so yummy and the food came out piping hot. The band that plays the last Saturday of every month is phenomenal.
