Rare Olde Times

OMG. A HOLE IN THE WALL BUT AMAZING! The food was great. The lamb stew was full of lamb and the flavor can't say enough about it. The staff is friendly. Love the atmosphere. Will be back real soon.

We had been trying to get here for brunch since the Irish festival. The Scotch Eggs and Rueben Egg Rolls are to die for, especially the egg rolls. Well, we finally made it to brunch today! The service was on point and the food was excellent (I brought some rolls and eggs home with me). We both had the full Irish Breakfast (I took the part of the plate that my gal didn't care for)! I'm glad I didn't tell her what was in the black pudding before she tried it, she didn't care for it but if she had known I don't think she would have even tried it. Short of them needing to re-measure a pint, my tab showed pint but the glass was between 10 and 12 ounces, I have no complaints and plan to return as soon as we can.

This is a great neighborhood Irish pub. Get the best Shepherds pie and PE island mussels in town. They have a generous happy hour too

I guess this place is ok if you want bar food but I would not recommend anything else. Guess most people go for beer and music. I had the corned beef and cabbage tonight and left half of the meat on the plate: all fat and grissel. Visited maybe 10 years ago and food was bad then. Girlfriends convinced me it was better now. Sandwiches looked good. Fries were good. Thank goodness, I was still hungry and ate their extra fries.

This is my favourite place. Michelle and Donna are wonderful, as are all the other staff members. I have a very specific diet, and they always make sure I can get something I’ll like. The atmosphere is laid-back but lively at the same time, and the food and drinks are superb. I come here with my boyfriend at least once a week, and I don’t see that changing any time soon.
