The staff here were very helpful, caring and understanding when we had our dog cremated . We have used them with the cremation of out last two dogs and would again in the future. Thank you for the care and respect for our dog that passed.

Unfortunately my experience was not ideal. MPS makes a clay paw print of the deceased pet, which I planned to also get engraved in a stone for my back yard. I asked that a particular foot be used because it only had three toes and that was a cute memory of my little Tails. When I picked up the remains, the clay paw print clearly had four toes. The staff swore that they did the rear-right foot I asked, and that must just be "how it came out" when you press the foot enough. I held off on paying for the stone engraving at that time. Luckily my vet (Companion Animal Hospital) also did a paw impression, and they got the correct foot, and the difference was stark. To MPS's credit, they did own up to their mistake once seeing this, and said I could use the vet's correct impression to do the stone engraving. I asked if they would be willing to offer any discount for the mistake, and after a couple days, they got back to me and said that they would offer 20% off, but also that they previously accidentally didn't include an additional fee for using a custom paw print engraving on a stone. So the "discount" took it from $45 to $72 ($90 minus 20%). The staff I worked with (Jone and Angela) were certainly pleasant and mostly helpful, and I do understand that mistakes happen. The big problem for me is that I felt like they did NOT understand the gravity of their mistake. Had my vet not saved the day, then I would have been cheated out of a fond memory I specifically asked for, and probably told that it actually was the correct foot, implying that I was mis-remembering my dog's 3-toed foot. To me that warranted more than "Oopsie Doopsie! Also we forgot to include a fee which we will now be including."
