Merry Maids

Update. According to management, "their best maids" cleaned my house. Maids are relatively careless and bang everything in the house with their vacuum and left marks all over my white trim. The initial and required "deep clean" was anything but clean. Toilets were not thoroughly cleaned. Floors were not thoroughly cleaned. Counters and mirrors had streaks. Management (Darcy) does not address problems, issues, or respond to emails. Extremely expensive considering how poor of a job they do. $150-200 per/3200 sq/ft PER 1.5 hrs $125 per 1600 sq/ft PER 1 hour Like other reviewers, they did not have the tools to do the job or the necessary cleaning products to clean stone surfaces correctly. Lastly, the time-log on the alarm on the house verified that they were overbilling.

I hired Merry Maids to clean certain parts of my house and informed them in advance of my request. When they arrived, we discussed what needed to be done. Unfortunately, at the end of the visit, they informed me they didn't have the right tools to clean some things. I don't understand why I wasn't told this when I called or when they arrived; why wait to the last minute? I found that unprofessional and had I known, I would have hired a different company. Additionally, when they said they were done, I walked through the house and pointed out a few things that were not addressed. When they left, I looked harder and noticed that entire areas were missed. I paid $200 for two hours and didn't have a long list of items. I'm perturbed that they didn't bring the right tools knowing the tasks ahead of time and the level of attention to detail was unsatisfactory. I will not be requesting their services again. However, the two ladies that arrived were polite and friendly and arrived within the time window of the appointment.
