My mom and I shared the red snapper fish dish and it was fantastic. Fresh and condiments just perfect. The empanadas were so fresh delicious! I’d love to come back here again.
Great costumer service and the food is good. Not giving it 5 stars because we ordered a Picada and the Morcilla Blood sausage was weird like not fresh or something and cold. Also It's a little pricey. Everything else is very good I went on a Saturday night and they had live music which was pretty cool.
Great place for family and good Colombian food. Been coming here since 2007. The only negative comment I have, is the plantains are not and I say again are not cooked fresh from a plantain. They are for sure from a Goya box or are brought in a huge sacks of ziplock bags. That is the only negative side of this restaurant. I have brought this up 2x to a manager but it’s never taking seriously. Other than that, it’s a cool spot to hang out with good music on Saturday and great natural juices.
Not a good experience : The place is crowded no space between tables. We were seated with the sunlight facing us, which gave a us a headache and made the visit unpleasant black out curtains needed ASAP. The food was not good. Fried plantains tostones were over cooked and super hard to bite. The breaded pork steak is a scam, tasted old and re-heated, plus it was thin. I am sure the beans were heated right from then can, if it was not the case then still the same result: were not good. Sprite soda drink was 70% water, and I never got a refill. In fact, the waitress never came back to ask if we needed something else. Just at the end he asked if we needed water. Tree people, $71 and we were not happy. NOT RETURNING. I hope they read this and do better.
First time here, ordered tacos al carbon, no no no, the tortilla was super greasy and thick, the sauce hot and salty and very spicy, the chips were drenched n oil and thick. Service was good. Not sure I want to go back, yet. Will keep u guys posted on this one.
In the zone there's a few Colombian restaurants but we heard about this one is the best. Flavors Five stars. Time really fast. I think they can improve the chicharron Guanaba con Leche amazing And the crambulete fantastic. Gabriela the white server girl outstanding good job, you can improve Everything clean!!!!!
The food was amazing, Carlos was excellent in the service. The prices are affordable and the taste is so good. Features: Everything was so clean.
This place has really expanded since it was opened 22 years ago. I had not been there in almost 17 years. I was pleasantly surprised at all the expansion and growth. It was nice but it has lost some of it's original charm and coziness. It feels more commercialized now and the food, thought good, has lost some of it's authenticity and flavor. It failed to transport me back to my days of living in Colombia. It is no longer a transport to the days gone by but a reminder of the acclimatization of our culture to These great United States.
Really good food. Lots of options and all sound delicious. Empanadas de queso appetizers are so delicious! Great service and location. Family friendly restaurant.
