Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fond Du Lac

We prepaid for our rooms when we booked, and I can see why they made us do that...it was gross. The front door doesn't even open fully, no front desk staff available in the afternoon on a holiday weekend (had to call them to get someone). The hallway carpet was in poor repair (kept snagging my suitcases) and the carpet in the room itself was dirty looking. The bed had a visible depression in the center and a whole bunch of lumps. The bathroom toilet seat looked dirty and there were pieces of black stuff on the floor. I hope they were dirt and not rodent poop, but honestly I didn't look that close. Booked a room elsewhere and got the heck out.

New owner is awesome.. he is weeding out the bad and bringing in the better.. rooms are being remodeled getting titles and fresh paint!!!

The staff is fantastic!!! They are tje most courteous helpful people there. The rooms are nice breakfast is great. Most definitely I would come back.

Make sure you are watching for sex traffickers here. There were two girls outside that were afraid to go back in. I couldn't stay there, I was so scared.

Disappointed with this stay. The standard rooms do not have a mini-fridge, coffee maker, or a microwave. I don't think the room reflects the price that you pay and the rooms are basically a tiny box with a bed and a restroom. Not worth it. Stayed for 2 nights simply because I could not cancel. Went somewhere else after.
