Super 8 by Wyndham Columbus

They are attempting to renovate this location, but it kind of seems like the project that might never end. There was tiling in the lobby that was almost completed, but was missing just a couple times, just odd things that seemed like they could have been completed but weren't. The hotel staff was awesome. Both people that were at the desk in the morning checked with us to make sure that we didn't need more food before it was put away (since we caught the very tail end of breakfast) this was very nice, and something that they didn't have to do. Overall guest service was good, the hotel just needs some work, and to finish started projects.

Easy to find off of Hwy. 151. Lobby is under construction but did not interfere with business. Check-in was quick and easy. Overall hotel felt clean with the exception of the elevator, it was dated and the carpet in it was disgusting. Room seemed clean, no worries there. Pool was average size, towels were available at the front desk. Breakfast was served until 9:30am and seemed to be kept stocked until the end. Staff even checked with us before they cleaned it up. It's limited offerings but it's a Super 8 I didn't expect much. Solid 4 out of 5 experience.

Place is the only hotel/motel in Columbus, it very close to Walgreens, fitness center, and variety of food places. Rooms are spacious, beds are big, well cleaned, with a working ac unit. There is a pool onsite with a hot tub as well. The place exceeded my expectations. Breakfast is served but its not the best.

Only reason for 2 stars is because the girl working mid day was awesome. The guy working early morning that started breakfast was out right rude/cussing at computers and I am certain he was drinking while at work. Will be calling back to talk to manager about this OR I’ll contact corportate. Word of advice do not stay here unless something changes with employers

Best hotel I have been to in awhile! Down pillows, at least I believe they were very nice, five of them. This is the first pool I've been to at a hotel in a while where the chlorine was actually was not overkill, very good, took a half hour swim and could tell it wasn't too much chlorine! The staff was very friendly, approachable, willing to hold a conversation. There are several restaurants in the area the Mexican restaurant we tried that night was very impressive. I've been to several hotels around Wisconsin lately and this one was the best in my opinion. Thank you
