It's a decent little place. The bathroom was a little worn down, but everything was very clean. It was nice and quiet. I woke up with a bug bite on my neck behind my ear. I'm not sure what kind of bug it's from, but there's only one bite. Of the 4 people that slept in the room, I was the only one that had a bite though so I'm sure it's probably just pure bad luck on my part and nothing to do with the room. That being said, other than waking up with a painful itchy bump on my neck, it was a nice stay, and a good night sleep.

While the room was clean enough for what it was, I woke up with three HUGE bites. One on my shoulder blade, one on my thumb and one on my pointer finger. They were swolle, itchy and hurt terribly. I couldn't bend my fingers for hours. If I would've had another option I would have taken it, the only reason I'm giving it two stars is for being open late.

Anytime I visit in Wisconsin Dells Area, I go visit Montello, Wi and stay this place. Excellent service, great price and super nice owner.
