Flamingo Motel & Suites

We were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the past reviews. So glad we took a chance on this place! Definitely an older building but our room was super clean and comfortable. 2 sinks, 1 in the bathroom and 1 out was nice for 3 people. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can't beat the price, especially if you make use of the included park passes. Walking distance to Noah's Ark so we even saved the parking fee there! Will be staying here again.

Wifi never reaches the suites and the pool area and bath tub were extremely dirty

Where do I even start? The motel floor was dirty. Multiple dead and alive bugs on the floor. The air conditioner didn't cool more than a few degrees on an 85 degree day. The room phone didn't work. Website said all rooms include a microwave, ours did not. No coffee maker in room. Not even plastic cups to drink out of. Shower changed from boiling hot to ice cold every few seconds. Not to mention you had to hold the toilet plunger down for a good 15 seconds to get it to actually flush. We were placed in a room about 15 minute walk from the office. The bed required slamming in order to close properly. Was given half a roll of toilet paper and had to call for more using our cell phone due to the broken room phone. Beds were uncomfortable. Very disappointed, worst hotel I've ever stayed in, in the Dells and elsewhere. Do not recommend.

We just checked out today after a 3 day stay... Good experience overall! The staff was friendly room (517) was maintained very well! No complaints about the hotel... Only a 5 minute walk with kids to Noah's Ark... Go carts great food and other attractions with in 5-10 minute walk.... To the reviews you see complaining about check in.... You will check in at 1030 go enjoy the park, come back around 330 to get your key to go to your room! This staff works hard to flip these rooms! Between 1030 check out and 330 check in!!! Some even sit and do laundry until 11-12 at night....Give them a break!!!!! Great value!

So I booked a room through expidea. Well they told me I had no deposit. Today, I was charged for the hotel room. I was a fan until this. But you really shouldn’t advertise on sites that say “reserve now pay later”
