My brother and my mom both had condos here for a few years. Nice condos - not too big but not too small - and nice view of the surrounding area. Close to the Metros, lots of places to eat, lots of parks to walk the dog, and garage inside the building. Storage areas available and even had a book exchange area in the computer lab. And they did allow pets. Only thing I could think of that may be a negative is the Metro trains do pass pretty close to the building so you might have a noisy condo depending on which side of the building you are on.
I am renting here for now. I started a new job in the area and do not want to purchase for at least a year or two. This is a well maintained building with excellent amenities. An outdoor pool small companion indoor pool for winter would be ideal . A party room with two grills and a pool table. A cyber cafe for working from home but having roommates or significant others who want you out during the day is an ideal location for work. A nice fitness center with cardio and weights and a place to stretch, as well. This is a dog friendly condominium but your dog needs to be entered in a DNA database so you can pay to clean #2 inside. I carry my dog to minimize these type of accidents when in the hallways. There are those public doggie bag stations all around and a nice trail along Cameron Run nearby. Plenty of restaurants. Most of them are good but one or two are not. I guess you will have to find out for yourself or read the reviews for the specific restaurants. I am renting a two bedroom with den and the space is adequate. Garage is nice for parking. I have two spaces. Wife has car, so I will need both of them. I do know that residents are responsible for plumbing. Every condominium association defines the responsibility. I have owned one elsewhere and currently own another one where I plan to retire. What the owner is responsible for and the association is well defined in the condominium documents. Make sure you read them, so you know where the responsibility lays and plan accordingly. Metro is very close and so the beltway so it is fairly easy to get around. That is the main reason I am renting here. Most of the people here are nice as are the staff.
Nice condominiums with 24hr front desk
Our best friends live in this building. It is super dog friendly and the condos are very nice. They have had some issues with water damage due to building waterlines not being properly maintained. The building does not offer $$ to fix any damage, must use homeowners insurance.
While the building structure, design and amenities are all very nice, what sets this property apart from so many others is the management team, maintenance crew and concierge service providers who provide great service at an amazing value. Located adjacent to the Huntington Metro Station, this is also one of the most conveniently located home options in the region.
Concierge staff is always very friendly whenever I am showing the property to a client. The price, location and amenities are all great.
Fantastic location, centrally located no matter which direction you want to go.
Great place with a lot of amenities and strengths.
I love my home at Midtown Alexandria.
Gets you where you need to go fast!
