I really hate going to concerts at this place. First of all the sound system is terrible!!! it always sound like a bunch of loud unclear noise and that goes for the music and the lyrics. Also everyone likes to stand making it hard for anyone to see the show. The last concert I went to here people were freely smoking weed and the whole place stunk!!

This theatre is in need of updating. It used to be very nice. The chair I was suppose to sit in was a broken folding chair! I had to complain to management just to have a decent place to sit after spending $75.00 plus fees.

This is a very nice theater — a little older, but it seems like they've keep it up quite well. We thoroughly enjoyed the show we watched here. The web site claims there is able free parking in the area, but I don't know what they were referring to — the area seems to be all ramps or metered parking. That said, there's plenty of parking in walking distance to the theater, for a reasonable price.

Milwaukee's largest and most awkward traditional theater-configuration space. I was recently there for an event that involved a 325-person choir, orchestra, organ, etc. For this, the space was perfect, allowing enough room for the multitude of performers, with enough sound to fill the space, and plenty of seating capacity plus room for overflow. In the past, I have seen more traditional Broadway-style shows here, and it does not work nearly as well. The stage is incredibly wide, leading to awkward viewing angles and odd lighting tricks, and everything has to be amplified significantly (sometimes to the point of distortion) to carry in the massive hall. My advice is to be careful about what you are going to see here, as some things work just fine while others definitely do not. Generally, the bigger the production, the better. Outside of the space itself, it is well-managed. Facility is clean and well-maintained; staff are polite, helpful, and do a good job of adapting to the needs of the specific performance. The large lobby area is also nice, as it gives plenty of space to gather before/after a performance and allows plenty of space to actually find and meet up with others even after a multi-thousand-person crowd has just let out.
