The Rave/Eagles Club

The space is beautiful architecturally. Hands down one of the WORST live music shows I've been attended. The sound was horrible for both the opening band and main. I don't know if this is a common issue being I only attended one show here. However the experience was bad enough that I would never pay a chuck of mola to see another show here. I try to give most places a few tries, everyone has off nights. However when you're dropping $40/60 to just walk in the door and can't even make out what song is being played I'm less likely to give them another go. I was very disappointed.

I have been to the Rave off and on for years and the acoustics remain some of the worst I have ever dealt with. You'd think that maybe some of the money from the incredibly overpriced drinks would go towards some kind of venue improvements, but I have seen no changes in over a decade. While I was probably within 30 feet of the stage, I could barely make out the band's vocals because I wasn't directly in front of them and standing anywhere but close and dead center is a recipe for unintelligible noise.

The Rave is a general admission theater that has numerous bars to serve alcohol beer, wine & spirits. The main issue I had was there was no consistancy to the drink prices. They charged what they wanted when they wanted. It just depended what bar and who was serving you. I think a menu or prices list should be posted in all fairness to the consumer.

Love this venue! Saw Avatar there on Feb. 10th, 2018 and the place was packed! The building is historic and is incredible inside! It's a bit of a maze getting inside and to the stage. Security was a little jumbled with some actually doing searches and others just going through the motions with little effort. Four bucks for a Diet Coke straight out of a can was a little harsh and nine bucks for a beer is as well. The ATM fee of five bucks is too high but the staff was helpful and courteous. They have incredible live acts there constantly and it is a real gem for those seeking live entertainment of exceptional quality. I drove nearly three hours and I'll be back again!

One of my favorite venues. I like to pay for VIP parking, makes the whole experience bliss. Nice staff, intimate setting for big name bands. Even a smoking lounge on the roof that you can go to without leaving the venue.
