The Miramar Theatre

Small venue, over priced drinks and no explanation when a headliner is late or doesn't show. 3 stars because yes it is small but I enjoyed the concert when it finally took place. That's why I say 3 stars, it was good but had room for improvement, it would have been nice to have been notified when a headliner was late or that we were still expecting them to show up, we drove seven hours for the concert and had to drive seven more to get home and sat for a while like ok did I really buy tickets to a smoking session or do we leave because we've gotta be back home, are they still coming etc.. as I said it's good but definitely could improve..

We went here to see a friend's family member perform. This would not be my first choice for a venue. The performance was great so kuddos there but everything else needed major improvements. Using Red Bull as the energy drink is great but doesn't Red Bull have a rule that if you sell it and use it for mixed drinks you have to provide the whole can? I'm pretty positive that's a rule and if Red Bull reps saw you doing this this would not allow you to sell it anymore. They were selling "Nice" brand bottled water for $3.00 a piece. We all know where you buy that brand and when you are over pouring everyone all night you should not be charging $3.00 a bottle. They ran out of straws at the end of the night so when I asked for a second cup so I could mix my mixed drink the bartender threw it at me. The smoking section is outside but they leave the doors wide open that everyone is better off staying inside. I suffer from migraines and was uncomfortable inside by 10pm from all the smoke. I should mention it was not just cigarette smoke as well.. and to my knowledge the other stuff is not legal in Wisconsin. I wanted to leave after an hour but stayed to support my friend and her brother that was performing. I won't be back.

This place was better when it was closed. It's an awful addition to the neighborhood, having no respect for residents near by. The building has no sound proofing. Worse yet, it rarely gets an enjoyable performer so there's no reason to go to the theatre anyways.

Great place to see shows! The drinks are pretty cheap and the staff is super nice. Tickets to shows are usually very reasonable, and the venue is small so you are always very close to the band. No assigned seating, so make sure to get there early!

Never would have went until icp played there, venue was smaller but perfect for event. I'm sure that's the reason their drinks were 10$ each.
