On my list for places to check out for quite some time… I’ve had bad empanadas before so that probably explains holding off… But man they definitely refreshed that previous impression! The overall feel is like a handheld pot pie. Has that same homey feel with wonderfully savory ingredients. Good quality and good service!

The beef empanadas are delicious!! The beef is seasoned and flavored so well after we were done for lunch we bought more to take home. The guava fingers are very tasty. They are sweet with giving you diabetes! We had a variety of pastries and not failed to impress! We would be regulars here if we lived in San Jose!

Love love love this spot! Support local you wont be disappointed. Empanadas with beef and potatoes are my go to but you also have try the sausage all so good.

They have a great variety. The empanadas are stuffed with filling. Most options are meat based but there is at least one vegetarian option. I was surprised by the gluten free options. They do not have savory gf empanadas. But they have a gf guava-cheese that is exquisite!! I should have ordered more to bring home.

Get there early in the day because they do sell out of many things towards the evening. Otherwise great, fast service. If there are any speed issues, it's due to customers not knowing what they want because of the huge selection. If you are unsure, just try anything and everything because it's all delicious.

Best empanadas in south bay. They are also one the few places to offer tamales closer to central american flavor although these are on the expensive side of their menu.

Delicious Colombian empanadas!! Sweet and meaty ones!! Have a full meal, a dessert or both!!
