Modern Septic Tank

Absolutely horrid customer service. Receptionist hung up in my face after refusing to schedule service to my address which has another very stable driveway to use. She would not listen or allow me to leave a message with the driver. Incredibly RUDE!

Poor customer service. I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday the next week, gave them my address and credit card in advance, and then received a call Friday at lunch saying that my house was 5 minutes outside of their service are and they would not service my home.

Very misleading customer service. I was charged $97 minus $21 coupon for a feasibility assessment to install a power vent water heater that MODERN can’t do. I explained clearly that I wanted to change from a power vent heater to a direct vent heater, which involves a mechanical contractor license to install the required chimney. It turns out that MODERN only has a plumbing license. It was just a WASTE of money and time.

My experience with Modern was positive despite the stressful situation which required their expertise. I had called them to repair a completely blocked sewer waste line which fully withstood a professional drain snake and jet and had caused 2 rental units to back up. I met them at 10am and they were able to give me a quote, start the job around noon and finish before 2pm. Everyone involve whom I spoke with was very pleasant and friendly. I had several questions which they patiently answered. DON'T FLUSH TAMPONS!!!

Modern Septic is great. They understood our dire situation and reacted promptly. We were given advice to help this from happening again.
