This will be biased because I happen to work here but I really do love both working and shopping here. There's no searching for the usually small organic produce section because all of the produce is 100% organic. And baked into the price is the scrutiny in which all items go through before being put out and throughout the day. Anything nicked, bruised or too close to spoilage gets given to Naked Lunch, is taken home by employees, or gets donated to local food banks. Most of what goes into the soups and muffins at Naked Lunch comes from produce that may have ended up in the trash in most other grocery stores. I take a lot of pride in that. The rest of the store goes through similar scrutiny with items getting sorted and checked throughout the day. Environmentalism is always at the forefront. It's their most prized and driving tenet. Much of their messaging serves to educate about growing food waste, the declining bee and pollinator population, and recycling. I don't know of another place you can drop off your nondonatable denim and shoes, batteries, corks, plastic bags and compost. Management and employees alike are environmental warriors on the front lines of protecting and serving this beautiful planet that we all call home
All organic produces. Plenty of vegan and gluten free choices. You can also order food and juices here. Upstairs seating area. Also has restrooms.
My favourite supermarket and its mainly organic produces.. very wide selection of both perishables, vegetables, fruits and dry goods.. we loved the onsite peanut butter machine!! Yummy. Kampuchea is much cheaper here than Target!!
What a lovely place to shop for goodies and eat. Diamond was super nice, made an extraordinary bowl of grains and veggies for me, I made my own with my choice of bases and veggies and sauces, everything's organic. You can pair it with kombucha from the store or from the tap will be good to use glass mugs for kombucha and head upstairs to eat. Better than Wholefoods because the eatery is organic and they say they're the cheapest organic store, not verified. Next to Hilton Canopy, so very convenient.
I love shopping here as the variety of food great and you can find so many organic options. There are restrooms available to the publicneed to ask for a code and the staff are very friendly.
I love this place!!! I'm always discovering new and interesting products. Plus, moreover, MOM's Organic Market introduces me to alternative ways of living, such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten free... they even sell insects for human consumption. I once bought BBQ flavored crickets! However, the discovery doesn't stop at food. All of their products, including beauty products, clothes, cleaning products, etc., are responsible and purposeful. This market opens my mind to the lifestyles and the values at the heart of the company. I feel good when I shop there because I feel hope for myself and the future through the purchases I make.
Great supermarket. However, if you're black be prepared to get followed. My coworkers and I have all experienced this and it is extremely uncomfortable. And the irony for the security guards to be black. I guess when they see another person of color just simply trying to get some pineapple juice it alerts them. Thanks for the personal escort, I guess.
An unusual spot for a grocery store but it provides trusted organic products to this changing neighborhood. Parking is free for two hours with an $8 purchase. Parking is covered and a little awkward to access but there are loads of spots for EVs electric vehicles! The spots for MOM's shoppers are clearly marked, convenient to the elevator that accesses the store. Free level 2 charging from SemaConnect and ChargePoint. There's a bank of Tesla chargers also but they may not be affiliated with MOM's. The store itself is in essence a Trader Joe's sized Whole Foods with similar brands and prices. Everything is clearly labeled perhaps to reduce staff. Heavy on plant based products the diversity comes from a variety of ethnic foods. No special displays for local products but again the labels say it all. The layout encourages moving in one direction through the store. Signs were everywhere to remind patrons to social distance. Check out was smooth and no issues validating parking. There was a plain clothes police officer at the exit elevator.
Holy wow this joint is expensive. They have very low cost fake meats tho and a good variety of them. Produce is always great looking tho so I give them that
Produce is all organic and such high quality. It's also not anymore expensive than Whole Foods. And such a better shopping experience overall than other grocery stores.
