Terrible place. Walked in to get a psychiatrist and they turned me away because I already had a therapist at a different agency and didn’t want to transfer that part of my care because at that point, I had been with her for 6 years. Money hungry and picky about who gets help.

They have literally made my life more livable. They have supported me with case management, psychiatric evaluations (when needed), weekly therapy, support groups, a personal trainer to work on heath and nutrition, and a psychiatrist to oversee my medications. They also provide 7x24 emergency support and staff a psychiatrist at the local hospital for screenings for possible hospitalization if needed.
This agency is a non-profit that works with anybody, no matter what their financial situation is. The 1 star reviews seen here are all written by people who seemingly don't actively participate in their treatment. In order to get any prescriptions written out, you must demonstrate that you attend weekly therapy, etc...

The Peterborough office of MFS has literally been a lifesaver for my daughter. We were switched from a couple of counselors before we found the connection that works for her, but that's normal with any organization.

A vital organization for our community in the Monadnock region. This gem of a non-profit provides critical services for our local families and friends, especially during times of crisis, as our community and state are now in with the opioid epidemic. The clinicians and employees that I've met at MFS are all passionate, kind, and dedicated professionals, who work hard and put their patient's wellbeing first.
