Authentic food and exclusive horchata margarita ! Nice service from Gabriela. Read the reviews about the service and so on, guys, calm down, for the prices you see at this restaurant and the thing that less and less people want to work in hospitality business, be grateful that this place is still working, but for others who visit this place often and leave only bad reviews one night when their food wasn't served as they expected...no comment. Be more positive and leave honest review, not o Lu when you don't like something.
In terms of Mexican authenticity, this place is clearly not. Beware. Asked for a couple of drink options on menu-was not available. We went on a Tuesday and it doesn’t seem busy. Order tacos and they delivered Taco Bell tacos with less toppings and with hard tacos. No cilantro, no onion. No salsas. Ask server to exchange for soft corn tortilla and she just brought the tortillas on the side. Please be aware folks. If you want Americanized, dull down version of Mexican food- this is it.
Nice and cozy dine-in. The foods were delicious and the waiter was very friendly and helpful. Got to be careful with the hot plates though. You get a decent lunch for less than $20.
We were seated immediately and provided our first round of drinks fairly quickly. It took a long time for the food to arrive but there were only two tables occupied ahead of us. Getting refills took awhile. The food was okay. The pollo fundido is supposed to have a cheese sauce but it was only loaded with sour cream. The portion of rice was small and dry. The chorizo dip was good but VERY spicy perhaps the menus should be updated to note that. The restaurant was clean but the menus were dirty.
For being notche’s this is it my new favorite restaurant!! Good on timing everything very good!! Better than expected. Very clean and organized. I will come here before I go to anywhere else. Muchos Gracias !!
Seriously cannot say enough good things about this place! The service was awesome. The food was to die for. And when I almost died from eating white salsa thinking it was queso, the waitress ran like heck to get me a drink to put out the fire!
Last Saturday night my wife and I had door dash delivery 2 dinner combinations mine 1beef burrito 1 beef enchilada with rice and beans. Hers 1 beef burrito 1 cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Combinations were perfect but it went off rails when the chips were missing salsa and who eats chips and no salsa? 2nd disaster was the reason why we ordered Mexican food was the dessert my wife's favorite is fried ice cream she got some kind of sopipea and I ordered flan and received the same strange sopipea as well so we called them and they put us on hold and they never came back 14 minuets I just waited until I had to call back and ask about it again and then they put me back on hold 5 minutes and then I had to just give up. So if you're going to order take out from here don't get dessert or call and complain or you'll have a magical hour on hold listening to Mexican music ole..... dessert failure.
Lovely staff are very attentive! I can sometimes struggle with these types of dishes because I cannot eat dairy. The service staff were super accommodating in making sure my dish was delicious and made without any cheese or crème. Definitely recommend!Recommended dishesSpecial, Tacos
Our waiter was rude. Terrible service we literally had to ask for everything. Food was gross. Beans were rock, cold, over salted. My child found a bone in her burger Slowwww service- waiter did not want to bring us anything. They advertised children eat free on Sundays and the man refused to give us our free meal as advertised. Most expensive Mexican meal, but yet disgusting meal I’ve ever had.
This place has average mexican food. The service just keeps going downhill everytime i visit here. My last time here was horrible which is why im writing this review now. This is a locally owned neighborhood place and I have the utmost respect for small business owners since i am one. The owner has usually been nice to us and i believe he knows our family since we have been coming here for atleast 15 years now. So we love the salsa at this place, and we even buy their salsa to take home. Last time when i dined here the waiter refused to bring any more salsa out. Instead of being polite and asking us that is it ok to charge us for additional salsa he said and i quote “this is not free”. By the way i had no problem paying extra for salsa. To put it in perspective we had 2 small bowls between 4 people. After my last visit I am questioning if i should ever return to this place anymore. I hope the owner reads this and decides to hire someone suitable for the job.
