Amazing staff and amazing food. Went to the neighborhood with friends to food-hop and came back here twice because we loved the food, service and vibe so much. Sauce in the pizza was delicious and for an Italian, that’s a big deal. I will come back here every time I am in lower manhattan, I love it.
Great bar in a neighborhood which can be lacking in watering-holes. This place feels authentic without trying too hard. There's some genuine history in the cracked mosaic floor and battered bar. The food is decent and the beers are reasonably priced, but the staff make it extra welcoming. Definitely worth stopping by.
Very delicious food. Inside seating area can be a bit cramped but I think that adds to the charm a bit. Tried the pizza, meatballs, and fried ravioli and all of them were spectacular.
Great little iconic bar placed in little Italy. Very cosy and a good selection of drinks to cater for all. The staff member serving was very friendly and chatty and gave us some history of the place including the films and tv it had been involved with. We were not eating but the food that was being served looked really good.
A perfect spot to enjoy a cold Peroni on a sunday afternoon.
Cant wait to be back when things get back to normal - i miss the atomsphere, the chill people and the strong yummy drinks!
The pizza Frankie Cee was just as legendary as the man its named after. My chicken parmigiana hero was exactly what it should be: filling, hearty and just the right amount of sauce to cheese to meat proportions.
Loved this place! Stephanie, the bartender, was amazing!! And what makes it better, scenes from the Sopranos and Donnie Brosco were filmed here!
