It was a old European styled pub. Small crammed space which just added to the auethtic feel. The staff was incredibly friendly. I went there for St Patty's day and I definitely will be going back!
Nice place. Everyone was friendly and I just love, loved the bathroom walls. I took pictures. Drinks were good, as were the chicken!! I just know someone that's famous or soon to be famous has left their mark on the wall!! I pray they don't paint over it!
When I lived nearby in Tribeca on Leonard Street I would visit this place during a typical late night binge. Back then there were only a few spots to go to, so it was a staple. I painted a portrait of the bar for my series of 'Disappearing New York', which you can see on my website, KovalFineArt dot com.
I would be happy to return here. A decent little dive bar. Currently has a few outdoor seats with heaters.
I've known this place for most of my life. My dad an uncle made this place their home. It's run by a staff that's New York to the core. And owned by one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Pull up a stool or sit at a table say hi and meet the best people ever.
This bar is one of the best, especially for party people. I enjoyed this place very much because the drinks, crowds, and anything else is great. I also met new friends here. The service was great.
Great little dive bar, run by a lovely last who was most accommodating. Huge food portions at decent prices, good beer, and shuffleboard table. She even shouted us a free beer!
entered near ten, it was not crowded. the service here is outstanding. prices were decent. menu is like a cafe in boston i liked.
Service is awesome even when they are busy. The service here is better than most. This place has a cool feel to it. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.
