Amazing officers! For patrolling bad neighborhoods and the community losing jobs daily they do well.

The officers do not take universal precautions when dealing with unknown possibly aersol substances of unknown origin such as particulate filtration masks and nitrile gloves. Also, the patrol officers do not take any photographs of the crime scene nor do they call for the crime investigation unit or hazardous materials team to clean up a potential hazardous materials site. When canvassing the area and questioning other neighbors about suspicious activity they do not perform an adequate job. When the door is slammed in their faces they just leave without asking any further questions. Even though there was plenty of evidence with the perpatrator's DNA at the crime scene the patrol officers did not collect any evidence and no samples of the powder were collected for analysis. When asked if the evidence was going to be sent to the State Laboratory for testing the desk sargeant said that the Muncie Police Department had better things to do than submit the evidence for testing and that they were not going to investigate the matter any further. This, even though I am permanently disabled, an Honorably Discharged United States Air Force Veteran, and am part Native American. This is being treated as a Class-B Misdemeanor Vandalism instead of the Hate Crime against an Honorably Discharged United States Air Force Veteran, someone who is permanently disabled and someone is part Native American.
