This place is absolutely spectacular. There’s so much to learn here, every exhibition was absolutely beautiful and rich in biblical history. This is a must for every believer. The animated experiences are fantastic, every mural, graphic design and animation was a class act. Big Kudos to every contributor. Beyond pleased with my visit here.
Absolutely incredible! So many beautiful exhibits. Loved all the different interactive pieces, had great exhibits for children. So many visually stunning Bibles, and so many precious old manuscripts. Also- food at the Manna restaurant was amazing. Everyone was very kind and friendly!
Six floors of amazing. It was the best museum I have ever been too. So well thought out and put together. You got to learn the history of the bible, see amazing artifacts, including the dead sea scrolls, you got to learn about the bible in American history and current history. You also got to walk thru Nazareth. I was there for 4 hours and didn't have enough time to see everything. It was incredible.
Had been looking forward to visiting the Museum of the Bible for quite some time and finally got to. Purchased discounted tickets through Groupon which was a great, after walking in, I went to the front desk, presented the vouchers and was able to go in fast, we made sure to be there as soon as it opened. The museum is very interesting, they have so much information, so you will need more than a couple hours to go through it well. Loved the village and the Old and New Testament shows. They have a nice little playground for the kiddos. Their restaurant, Manna, was really good as well, just beware that they get very busy so make sure to get there early before the lunch rush. Look forward to visiting again soon!
The Museum of the Bible is a great place to learn more about Christianity and the the lives of those from the Bible. With 6 floors, there is a lot to see with interactive exhibits, movies, live storytelling, artifacts, and a children's experience exhibit. We went on a weekday and it was not very crowded. Tip: purchase your tickets online through Groupon to save a good bit of money. Food: The museum features a restaurant called Manna, that offers good food around $15.99 price range for entrees. There is also a cafe on first floor that has coffee, pastries, and a few sandwiches. Staff: everyone is incredibly helpful and there is plenty of staff around to help if needed. Accessibility: wheelchair friendly and accessible. The Museum offers both stairs and multiple elevators.
Loved this museum. I give it 4 stars because of many things in this museum. We all loved the view from the top of this building. Amazing sight of the City. Level 5 that had a Special Exhibit on Samaritans was extremely interesting. Level 4 on the History of the Bible was interesting, only confusing. Didn’t have a definitive ‘path’ through this floor. So much info and Bibles and videos. Tough to know where to go. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating. We all loved Level 3 with the World of Jesus of Nazareth and the Hebrew Bible Experience. Very unique. I could have passed on the 12 min animated video on the New Testament. Level 2 and the Bible in America/World is very interesting. Lots to see and do and touch and read. — If you’re like me, make sure you have your reading glasses. An excellent museum
What an amazing museum! It is so modern and well put together. They make great use of tech technology in their exhibits. I enjoyed the ride where it flies you around DC and uncovers hidden Bible messages. So cool!! Can’t wait to go back!!
Wow! Just wow. What an amazing experience and blessing. This is a beautiful six floored building full of biblical history and wonders. What we were most shocked about was the amount of adventures in here that you get to experience. There is an amazing ride called the Washington Revelation that whips you through DC, a beautiful walk through experience that is a work of art of the New and Old testament, VR experience, and much more. There were moments of joy, tears, wonder, and solitude. There was even a place to tell your story in I Am Second that gets recorded to share to others. I really enjoyed the history of America and how the Bible impacted our country and how foundational it was on the second floor. *A tip I would suggest is getting the Annual membership because you get the Washington Revelation included with your passes when you come. You have to go the ticket area to get them printed to bring to the ride.* You will not regret coming and it exceeded my expectations by far just like the God's word does. My wife said she thought it was like Disneyland for Christians. They have a kids area as well that is perfect for children.
Wow! The museum of the Bible absolutely astounded me by its physical size, scope of exhibits, and the amazing amount of artifacts and modern day technology employed in its exhibits. There are six floors to this place. There is a very extensive exhibit with actual biblical artifacts/bibles stretching all the way back to 1,000 AD! Another exhibit includes a re-creation of a typical home and surrounding neighborhood in ancient Jerusalem. Another exhibit is packed with modern interactive technology that shows how the Bible has influenced life around the world we live in. I could go on and tell more but instead I wholeheartedly recommend you make this a destination place to visit when in Washington DC.
I've been twice now the flight over DC simulation is amazing. The exhibits are very nice especially the Old Testament. Everything is done with grace and not to overly suggestive. The experiences while geared towards the Bible are more based on human morality than anything.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYesPrice for adult entry$16–20
