Mustang Police Department

The City of Mustang has a ridiculously unfair municipal court system. Avoid this town like the plague. I don't think the otherwise professional officer knew this when he wrote me a ticket for an illegal u-turn the day before my flight back to Washington. He said he "had to give me a court date" but to call the court clerk to see if I could see a judge before flying out. The court clerk will not help you. The court will not let you submit a plea in writing or over the phone. They want you to be there in person on the date specified. The best part about all of this is that I didn't even know u-turns were illegal here. It wasn't in my "Welcome to Oklahoma" guidebook. The u-turn that I made is entirely legal in WA.

As long as your not doing anything wrong, the people (just doing their job) are really awesome and reasonable.

Every night county line to Morgan rd 152 is a raceway. They do nothing to ticket these jerks.

The cops are ridiculously unprofessional and rude. If you’re familiar with valley brook policing then you will understand mustang police - just a fancier jail cell I️m assuming

The enforcement of lane usage in Mustang is nothing short of pathetic. Even the city police blatantly ignore traffic law while patrolling.
