myDoc Urgent Care

I don’t usually do reviews but felt the need to review my experience. I was super disappointed with the service I received here this week from their Nurse Practitioner/Doctor—I didn’t catch her name. I want to note that although she was not helpful, Nurse Brian was extremely helpful, thorough, and kind and I felt my concerns were listened to. The Doctor, however, was condescending, rushed through our conversation even though the place was empty and did not listen to me or take my concerns seriously. For some very severe and alarming health symptoms she simply asked if I had ever taken Advil and was ready to send me off. She made assumptions about the reasons for my symptoms and did not listen to my concerns. I had to ask for specific medical exams, which did prove that something was wrong as I had expressed. She did not provide me any referrals or advice, told me I needed more labs and tests done but that she could not perform them that day. She sent me off with a pamphlet about painkillers and stress. I felt as though her priority was to rush through her work day, not provide detailed care to her patients. Brian, however, was so thoughtful and made sure I was comfortable as he answered my questions and completed the exams. They are lucky to have him!

Do not go on the weekend. I have been twice, the first time I went during the week and everyone was professional and quick. This last time I went on the weekend and was there for almost 2 hours despite no one else entering the building during that time only to not be treated by the unqualified nurse practitioner.

Completely appalled at my experience at Mydoc center city. Jefferson urgent care which came highly recommended was all booked up, so made an online 4:20 appointment at Mydoc on locust st. Showed up on time for my appointment and was greeted by an extremely disgruntled and frantic receptionist. She barked at me and raised her voice throughout the entire interaction. She insisted that there was no way I had an appointment, even though I clearly made it on their website and had confirmation. She told me to sit, fill out paperwork, and she would "see if the doctor is available". I wasn't going to wait with the possibility of not being seen, and didn't want this unstable woman having my information if it wasn't necessary. After being yelled at for the 3rd time, I told her it's unacceptable to disrespect patients this way and I left. If this is the treatment the front desk staff dishes out, safe to say I dodged a bullet not getting my medical care here. Steer clear!

Awful service and waste of time. Though the gentleman who works there is extremely kind and helpful, always makes you feel safe, Dr.Lorna on the other hand refused to treat my asthma and sent me off with a pretty much “oh well” go to an actual asthma doctor, when she could have helped me get through a couple days. I felt embarrassed and wasted time waiting for an appointment they knew about. I don’t have good HCare so I have a hard time finding doctors who I can afford and really needed help. I needed a break. I will never feel comfortable because of her ways of “helping”. Doctors like her are the reason why people are not fully honest or wait until the last minute to get help. Though I appreciated her advice on what doctors to go to, you still treat your patient with asthma. Especially when it’s a serious issue. I’ll never go there again. I think it’s important for people to be careful with this place.

The supervisor Theresa is such a wonderful and nice person she really cares about the people/ pts. She lights the office up

Not to hyperbolize but this urgent care restored my faith in humanity. I interacted with 4 people, and each went above and beyond in their job and was super friendly. The two women at the front desk helped me fill out forms because I am stupid and explained things in depth regarding a technical issue with my insurer. The nurse maybe Sean was the name was incredibly friendly and made sure I was comfortable during my short wait they were very busy but really efficient even with a small staff. And the PA I had I think her name started with a K was the best interaction with a provider I have ever had. She did additional research when I told her about something regarding my PCP and recommended questions to ask them on top of what she helped me with. With how hard they all work the employees’s attitudes really just made my day on a bad one!

Came to this Doctor because it’s where my daughter had to go for medical checkup for Military application. Destiny and Brian were the ones who greeted us. They were amazing. Patient, kind, understanding of our needs and so friendly. The nurse practitioner was also excellent. One of the best experiences we ever had at a doctors office. Thank you. It was worth the hour drive.

Fantastic urgent care. I came in for strep throat and was seen immediately. Dr. Lorna was very knowledgeable and very thorough. Lorna, Teresa, and Brian are a great team!

Literally the worse place ever ! Everyone seems so confused. The place is dirty , the staff is clueless . Good luck calling for anything…….. they will put you on hold 10 times just for someone else to finally take the call and not even have an answer.

We arrived on a Sunday morning to get our PCR test. Carol was the only employee trying to manage the front desk and deliver the care. She was exceptional. The waiting room was also clean, and in the few times I have gone there, I have been quite satisfied. Great job thank you
