Nathan's Lynnhaven Pawn Shop was established in 1984 as an extension of the family's pawn shop located in downtown Norfolk since 1892. Like his ancestors before him, Nathan's goal was to extend the family's motto, "In the Public's Confidence" since 1892. We are private, secure and trustworthy to keep your most precious items safe and worry free.

We are the "Friendly Loaner"; no one else has been allowed to call themselves, the Friendly Loaner in Virginia since 1984. We have thousands of clients in Tidewater and all 50 states that know and trust us. If you are borrowing ten dollars or ten thousand dollars, you are treated with respect and we honor your business.

We are the only pawn shop that securely seals every jewelry item taken in for a loan, in High Security British and Swedish vaults, and gives you FOUR months to repay your loan. The interest rates are set by the Commonwealth of Virginia and are added on each month. We do not check your credit and your personal information is safe and secure.
