New York & Company has been my favorite store to shop at for years. In fact, it is the one store that I have a credit card to. Unfortunately, the poor service is getting to a point where I don't want to shop here anymore, regardless of the good deals. I was extremely disheartened today when I went in to use my $10 No Exclusions birthday card to be told that it will not be accepted on clearance items. The guy at the register argued with me and said that I don't get the $10 off on redline items even though the card specific says No Exclusions! Thankfully, the manager stepped in to help and advised it was simply a technology issue. While I am super grateful that she was able to help, how I was treated was unacceptable. I didn't even receive an apology from the cashier who told me my card would not be accepted. I will not be shopping here very often. This is the second time I have received terrible service and was treated like an idiot.

Love the company and clothes, however because of an awful customer service experience I will not be returning.
